Blessings Box/Free Library 

Located on 66th Street in front of the Church, this little box supports the homeless, the neighborhood and anyone experiencing food insecurity. Church and neighborhood volunteers stock the box weekly. Non- perishable food items and book donations to the Blessings Box are appreciated at any time.

Helping Hands Fund 

The Helping Hands Fund, is an outreach of Lakeside United Methodist Church. It combines ministry and mission by offering short-term assistance to help those with short-term crisis and unexpected needs who are unable to find other means of support. Gifts are received from special offering during communion in worship and other specified donations. Congregation members and those beyond the congregation are eligible to receive funds.

Bridging the Gap

We provide basic household goods to young people who are aging out of Foster Care. [MORE]

Circle of Prayer

Upon request, the Elders Prayer Chain Mobilizes prayers for immediate concerns and praises. Call the church office  (722-7445) with your prayer requests and they will be forwarded to the Elders.

H2OH!

These are all-church Outreach events reaching the community around us (e.g. community dinners, Refuge Church, Compassionate Care, Christmas Projects, Free School Supplies, and Diaper Drives). [MORE]

Every Tuesday, this program goes above and beyond by preparing and delivering over 30 meals to those in need. [MORE]

Equipping and empower Christians throughout the world to do the work of ministry.

Relatives As Parents Program (RAPP)

This is an education and support group for grandparents and relatives who have become the primary caregiver for their children’s children or another relative’s children. [MORE]

This a special seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them.

The Guardians of Knowledge

The Guardians of Knowledge After School Program is a weekday (Monday-Wednesday 3:30-6PM) ministry for elementary age children.
