I am the seventh generation of my family to be ordained in the Methodist tradition. I entered Oklahoma City University as an Art major. Eventually, I added Religion and Philosophy to my degree program and graduated in 1999. While attending OCU, I met Kristin Terrell, who I married in 2000, after dating for three years. Kristin and I both earned Master of Divinity Degrees at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.

After completing our degrees in 2002, we moved back to Oklahoma City. I took a job at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church working with youth ages sixth grade through college. In 2003, I also assumed the position of Coordinator of Ministerial Recruitment and Nurture for the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Since then I have served at Crown Heights UMC, Spencer UMC, Stratford UMC, Wynnewood UMC, Lawton Heights UMC and Wesley Chapel UMC. And now I am proud to serve here at Lakeside UMC.
